Fritz Katzenjammer
Finally riding a big boys bike
Does anybody recognize this brute?
I picked this out of the basement at work and was told by the boss to take it home with his blessing ( and a small donation to our next charity ride ) It’s built like a tank and seems straight so I’ve already built up two wheels on it for fun.
It predates the current shop by a lot of years, I figure it could be from the seventies or eighties based on the really old type LED indicator lights in the nifty run out indicators. The base and arms are cast iron, the silly thing weighs 39 pounds! The threads are imperial so I figure it’s likely American made. There’s no labels of any kind on it other than a few small stickers of the kind that seem to pollute every piece of old bike shop fixturing.
