I recently got a Coker Wheelman which I love. I would like to put bike pegs on the rear wheel, which would allow me to stand with two feet on the back wheel when mounting or dismounting, rolling like a scooter, also good for going down gentle hills. But the wheel it came with has a 8Mx1.0 axle rather than standard 1.25 threading. I can find 1.25 thread pegs but not 1.0. I had got some non thread pegs but found out they wont work as they tried to bend the frame (no harm done). I cant find details on modern 12 inch kids bikes, to know if the axles are a better size. If I got a kids bike off facebook marketplace would it have the same axle or a 8mx1.25? Or do they have 10mm axles? Or any ideas for how I should proceed?
