Finally riding a big boys bike
Antique vintage 1948 Schwinn Bicycle with H series Whizzer engine kit on it ..
As you can see this is a Schwinn that was made to take the Whizzer motor bike engine kits..
Frame has indents for belt clearance..
Has the extended rear brake arm and reinforcement strap with welded mount..
Has the cool front drum brake with correct control lever..
The number on the bike is E29118
The number on engine is H-63014.
I had this about 30 years ago and putted around a few times.
Sold to a local friend who putted around as well, then it sat upstairs in his barn most those years...
He retired and somehow it followed me back home..
Obviously will need restoration to suit your particular needs..
Engine still turns..
I always liked it because it has great original patina and those low handlebars are killer.
I picked up pictured parts, new hard grips, a cable, exhaust clamps and tip, belt guard, rear rack, couple of chain guards, belts etc which all go with it..
The price is $2500 cash in hand or may consider trades on pre 1916 American motorcycle items..
The Whizzer is in Massachusetts 10 miles west of Boston…
Send me a private message if you want to come get it..
Thanks…
